This is my first post.

So, we’re still settling into California. Check out the pictures on this site to see how our move went and what santa cruz looks like. People have been asking me similar questions about what I like about California and what I miss about Boston. Here’s a list right now. I will add and subtract in the future - N.

What I like about Santa Cruz:

1. Lots of Sun
2. Campus radio station that plays reggae every morning
3. Fresh Produce
4. Amazing Farmers markets on almost every day of the week
5. Man who walks around downtown wearing a cape and has a cat on his shoulder
6. Good Mexican food
7. Nice view while I am driving from the UCSC campus
8. People with dreadlocks…everywhere.
9. House with the 8 foot wood cut out of santa claus in his underwear scratching his stomach on the roof (hand drawn, quite impressive)
10. Bright sunny beautiful days
11. Wine, lots of good wine
12. Palm Trees
13. Fog (eerie)
14. Support for locally grown organic food
15. Surf Contests
16. UCSC Organic farm within walking distance from us
17. 24 hour fitness
18. Students protesting
19. Good local artists
20. Local fabric shops
21. Best hot chocolate I’ve ever had
22. Intense bike riding
23. VW bugs
